hi, let me ask a naive Q, for some specialty programs, say, anesthesiology, do you need match: 1, to the PGY2-4 anesthesiology, and 2, the PGY1 transition or IM program? so, do you need apply two different programs and then matched into both/ what happened if you get matched in one but lose another one, e.g., yo matched into the PGY2-4 sepcialty program but didn't get PGY1 transition year? is it possible? wait for your answers and good luck for everybody here

yes i thnkwe need to apply to both PGY! and PGY2 ifu dont match in PGY1 try the scramble. if u dont match inPGY2 then u stil have onemore year to try for aplications and onemore match this is my personal understanding anyforum seniorwill be able to tell u more
