Furosemide ; inhibits the active absorption of Na,K,Cl in the think ascending limb -> deplete the medullary gradient. so maybe 25% of filtered Sodium just pass...so gradient down... (i think you need something more..than this)

i think that loop diuretics also increase the blood flow in the vasa recta -> overflooding the loop system -> decreases the osmotic gradient
