If it was Leigh disease it would not have autosomal recessive way of transmission.

It is Leigh Disease (Cyt C deficiency)

" Leigh's Disease is inherited as an autosomal recessive genetic trait. However, autosomal dominant, X-linked recessive, and mitochondrial inheritance have also been noted "
