Someone please help me. I am going crazy at this point. I am doing Usmleworld question. I bought this 3weeks ago and have only completed 18% of the question bank. The problem is that after doing question and i try to read all the explanations(from the start till the stop weither i got it right or wrong), however, once i finish expl on one question and move to another one,i don't remember what i had gone thru previously. so i started writing down every single explanation which is why it is taking me too long to finish the question bank. I am going naughts right now and i only have sept and oct for my eligibility period to end. What should i do people. am i retarded or what? This step 1 has been a big challenge for me. I passed step 2ck and cs already but this one is choking me. Please someone tell me what to do. My plan was to go thru the question bank at least twice and then go back and review Goljan again and read HY mol-biology and Neuro. Someone advice me on what to do with this UW question bank. please if you have any input or doing Usmleworld now or did UW before your exam and can leave me your e-mail address, i will e-mail you for advice. you're on the right track. Writing what you have missed. Later on you'll just reread or memorize those. I'll be doing UW after my qbank . I believe that w/ much time & understanding of the topics you'll beat it. You already passed the other 2 tests so I'm sure you'll be fine! Good luck..

Blessyou: Dear friend, Don't think you are retarded, you are a doctor or would be a doctor, and you have the brains too. what I see is you have a time limit and worried about the exam eligibility period. This is giving you a tension and increasing your anxiety, because of this anxiety you are forgetting what you read previously.
If I was in your place and in this time constraint, I would do couple hundred questions in timed mode to train myself to handle questions ie 50 Ques in 1 hour. once you can handle this time mode do the rest of the questions as a learning tool, read the question and derive a probable answer and then read the answer and explanation to cut short the time. I know that writing the explanation to each and every question you got wrong would take a lot of time and you are short of it. or instead of writing you try to save the Ques & Answer you got wrong to your computer and go over it when you have time. Dont let anxiety kill you, and you are NOT retarded.
Good luck, you should be fine, you are already thru with step2 and this step1 is just another hurdle. just give your best shot.

you can always extend the subscription !
i am not really wel versed with UW. but i think they are using the java for thier system.
one option is to save the explanations will be to capture the screen and then save it as a jpg file. u will also be able to print this way! dont know exactly.
