Hi bbb,
I am an img from india. iam done with my step 2ck with a score of 97/241 and am working as a research scholar in dartmouth medical school since last month.
i plan to take step 1 this month and cs next month.
unfortunately i have to go back to india to take the step 1 exam and i am having difficulty booking the dates as no dates are available in september at any centre.i am just hoping on the last minute opening of dates.
so please tell me that till WHEN my step 1 result should be out to be able to get a decent number of interview invitations.if my step 1 results are out by mid to late october is it too late for interviews.
i am applying to IM and want a J1.
I would really appreciate your advice.

Hard to say - depends on where you applying - if I tell you my experience, it doesn't mean that it's the same for all programs.
