A 40-year-old woman presents to the emergency department because of hematuria. Laboratory analyses show significant protenuria, bacteria and white cells in the urine, and a BUN of 50mg/dL with a creatine of 4.0 mg/dL. Ultrasonography reveals enlarged kidney, and she is given a provisional diagnosis of polycystic renal disease. Which of the following is likely to be decreased in this patient? A. Creatine clearance B. Extracellulart sodium concentration C. Glucose clearance D. Plasma creatine levels E. Plasma inulin levels The answer is clear. What happen to 'Extracelluart sodium concentration' in this case? APKD -> renin(increase) -> .... so increase?
