i'll explain what i have read. U have 2 remember the embryology of heart..How it happens...it's the cardiogenic area in front of the proctodomal plate (future mouth) where primitive heart tube with 5 dialatation forms..this then laterally folds twds the rt. side. The first and second part of the tubes are truncus arteriosus and bulbus cordis( future great vessels and r/l ventricles)....Neural crests cells then migrate into this area..twist spirally to form AP(aorticpulmonary septum)thus giving u aorta and pulmonary trunk on the resp. ventricles...if this twisting doen't occur then u get transposed vs.leading to R_L shunt and cyanosis. Similarly,if the vs. twists such that they both open at the R ventricle u have Taussig BIng. I"m not so sure as to what u mean by the corrected pattern. They do aterial switching and aterial venticular repair.. respectively.

common form of TGA - aorta arises from morphologic RV on rt side of heart & pul art arises from LV on lt side corrected form - aorta arises from morphologic RV on lt side and pul art arises from LV on rt side taussig bing - aorta arises from morphologic RV on rt side and pul artery overrides a VSD

Taussig Bing malformation Taussig-Bing syndrome is a cyanotic congenital heart defect (CHD) in which the patient has both double outlet right ventricle (DORV) and subpulmonic ventricular septal defect (VSD). In DORV, instead of the normal situation where blood from the left ventricle (LV) flows out to the aorta and blood from the right ventricle (RV) flows out to the pulmonary artery, both aorta and pulmonary artery are connected to the RV, and the only path for blood from the LV is across the VSD. When the VSD is subpulmonic (sitting just below the pulmonary artery), the LV blood then flows preferentially to the pulmonary artery. Then the RV blood, by default, flows mainly to the aorta. The clinical manifestations of a Taussig-Bing anomaly, therefore, are much like those of dextro-Transposition of the great arteries
