Dear BBB and other gurus ... does anyone know if these options qualify as USCE? 1) volunteering at a “regular clinic” and performing duties of a “medical assistant” (e.g. rooming patients, checking blood pressure, verifying their medical info from the chart, like allergies, drugs, etc..).. basically innocent stuff… 2) volunteering at a “free clinic for the poor or otherwise disadvantaged groups” under a supervision of a doctor.. many US medical students do this, so why can’t we? This option may offer more clinical exposure, not to mention the rewarding experience of serving a noble cause…. Thanks vincent vega (from Pulp Fiction)

It depends on the program. Some may consider it as USCE, but some may not GL
