A 50-year-old man consults a physician because of a lesion on his nose. On examination, a flesh-colored lesion about 1 cm in diameter, with a rolled edge and central ulceration, is observed. Which of the following is the most likely diagnosis?

A. Basal cell carcinoma
B. Eczema
C. Psoriasis
D. Urticaria
E. Verruca vulgaris

Btw, how can you differentiate Sqm cell ca,BCC and Melanoma in gross description in Qs?
thanks in advance.

rolled out edge with a central ulceration clearly indicates it as basal cell carcinoma

Dr Goljan says that as rule anything above the Upper Lip is to be considered as BCC n BCC as a Catered Volcano type of look with sandy material in it

yup if u see his notes he has it clearly mentioned that "histological appearence is confused with SCC but a Keratoacanthoma has scarring n no ulcer formations while a BCC has a cater with a pearly white colour nodule
