Missed last 2 chapters of immunology...transplant and lab procedures and shall finish that first. done with two bugs posted by MT and so set for immuno questions.......
For today...
Two more bugs...Lengionella and bordetella
Finish Immuno
Physio..Study first four sections of kaplan
General,Excitable tissue,Skelatal muscle.

Hi everyone,
How do you guys do it?.I am going crazy here,a mixture of depression,frustration,confusion and anxiety.I have been studying since Jan and I feel like I don't know anything.Both my kids have had every bug in the book. A lot of domestic issues that have complicated my life since I started to study.Right now I have a bad cold headache and everything seems to be going wrong.I feel like crying.whats going on........maybe i'm losing it
I feel sooo bad for being ungrateful,2 lovely kids a husband who is patient,kind and understanding,family that is hopeful for me,An MPH...what else?
I am so sorry God for being so ungrateful..Can someone share their experience with me or talk some sense into me. feel Rock bottom right now.hc

Hi U4me,
I read your posts and admire that you have the courage to keep trying, regardless of outcome. That is what is needed with this exam and I just wanted to drop a note to say that YOU WILL SUCCEED. Just hang in there and continue to give it your best shot.
Mytime and others like you at this forum keep inspiring me to continue with the struggle, it will be worth it in the end.

I am back after a long break, but I am optimistic. I am going to be working hard for two years to get over with all usmle requirements.
My goal is to have step 1 test in january 2008, step2 in july 2008, CSA in october 2008 and step3 in january 2009 while waiting for the match.
Up till now I studied high yield histology, high yield anatomy, Board review series physiology, and working on board review biochemistry, and I have to finish it by May 15. After that I am working on embryology and first aid while ordering the other material..
Right now I am stay at home Mom, and I have two beautiful kids first and second grade. I never worked after grauation in1997, but I will find a part time job in a clinic or even volunteer right after I finish step 1 and step2 while preparing for CSA and step3...and while waiting for the match...If I got the match worked for me I will start internship in July 2009, or in worse cases wait for the following year. In case this happened I will spend the year doing research in the hospital or the clinic... That is the outline for my plan ahead...
For right now going back to biochemistry and the structure of amino acids.

Can we call you mum, we all are mum, but still need mum. What a speedy, fresh good posts. We all are stay home mum at now or one point or forever till st 1 done.
Good plan, keep it up, do not loss soul, tracks. Make sure do kap LN, dvd, golj audio , notes, 2007 his texts etc as every one using .

I just keep busy studying in library.I guess paying the fees and taking dates has rather made my family more serious about my studies and have started giving me ample of time to study....
I wish I should have taken the block quiet early

Nice to hear from you. I am much much better & try not to catch more cold.
I agree , with fees , even for the course , then you'll get better study time than study home. Not too late sis, study hard then try some pre exm tests ahead, then see when the exm date should fix far or near .

Hello everyone,
If I am to have the step1 test by January. When should I start calling to register for the test? Besides I live in the US and my license papers are in my original country. What are the requirement for the registration beside the fee.

Check exm experinces & pick most common & things you like to order the study materials, every one is different, what I mentioned b4 is , just not to miss the common ones that almost every one is using.Even , some did not use the common one if they said are sincere.
But you're your own boss in your study , so choose best that good for you, just not too ways out from common ones.
Hope it helps.
Go to nearest book store, library, even free day at kaplan , so kap will tell you all webs, exm steps, etc allow you to taste their books, dvd, reference lib & vibes of the IMG, AMG studying there.
You might even find the partner from there. To attend it or not is your call .

Hey shwe thanks for the post in our regular world.....
Hmmm.....mother's day for me was nothing more than getting a card and hug that I love the best......
Other than that  I was picking up weeds from my garden and doing more backyard cleaning!!!!!!!!!!! But you know what....I was missing my mom too much today. Though the bond between my mom and me has always been strong I feel I understand more after being a mom!!!!

How is everyone doing. I have been checking and nobody is writing. How is everybody progress. My kids are almost done with school and Daddy is spending more time with them. It is my chance now to concentrate.
