Today I have not studied till now  I did expected sometime off as I had to prepare for my daughter's B'day party! But it just took the whole day and so now am in a very dull mood.Hope to study some at night as next two nights am not gonna get anytime...guests and kids are going to rule my house .........let's see who wins?!!!
I am going to be at loss anyways

Thanks a lot dr.mum for your insipiration and a very much needed reassurance.I think you are right I should live that moment and enjoy every bit of it....but silly me....my subcouncious mind keeps on coming back to books.After that when it is a real time to study I am so much full with guilt(for not being fully with my family and not studing.....and much more..still not able to judge what is that guilt all about)I can't concentrate.Well, it goes on and on....I am sooo going to be with my baby on her B'day!Thanks again.

Hmmmm............so I am back after a break of almost 3 days!!!which I had expected.So shall start today with patho again and expect to complete kaplan patho by tomorrow .There is a little change in schedule.I shall go for goljan notes imm. after I finish this patho.

Sometimes things don't go the way you expect......I did finish kaplan patho almost as scheduled but could not start with gojan!!!It was my birthday yesterday and my hubby had planned a great surprise for me!!!!Great stay at great wolf lodge waterpark......also had a nice spa treatment .....I don't know whether I deserve it but I know for sure I enjoyed it.... .So what shall I say....hard to pick these heavy books again.But I know this is the only way to the destination I dream of.So Step 1 here I come.......
Starting with gojan today.

Hey GoodGirl thanks.Yes waterpark is a very nice place.Kids love it and kid in me loved it too!!!!!!!.
Now I know for sure that Goljan patho is a must must do for step1.Wow...while listening to him you clear your concepts not just in patho but other subjects too.Other subjects are nicely integrated.I am enjoying patho!!! .
But I am out of my scedule too
I think this must be done and feel on right tract...matters most

Hmmm......though goljan is a good idea things are going very slow.I am still doing general patho.there is too much to memorise .

Read, reread, rereread........ Listen, relisten, rerelisten........... repeat, repeat, repeat............. You can get it. After all, Pathology is the most important part.

So now for today I plan for Neoplasia and hematology.I know its too much but I think seting it high kinda keeps the pressure on...I need that at times

Finished with hemato and should finish cardiology today
RS and GIT for friday
Hepatic and renl on saturday
GYN and endo on sunday and Misc. on monday.
Hope it runs smooth....

Till today it is all ok but tomorrow I shall be busy so won't be able to finish the target
Life is so full of challanges....It is good to know that poeple around U love U and depend on you.Having a social life and a family it is hard to withdraw urself at once....even harder to make everyone understand how much dedication is needed even if U aim to just clear this exam!!!Gonna be busy with family and friends..

Back to the books.....So now I am again one day behind.I had some time yesterday night but my brain was on strike.Went to sleep at 12 with no progress
Though Sunday it is good as usually weekend are not so favourable for studies.I have already finished hep and started renal. which I plan to finish today.High hopes!!!

Happy to say that I am finally done with patho.I am happy that I did both kaplan and goljan but for next revision it will be goljan for sure.Target was to finish goljan on monday...but it is wednesday.. Anyway shall start pharmac tomorrow.
It is 2.15 am and believe me I am still in mood to study!!!!!
Well no....shall go to sleep.

Don't worry dear,you know some days you feel that this is just not your day!!!I guess same is with U.With family and friends it is very hard to walk out from our social attachments.Ya that is part of our life....duty....blah blah......
So just stay cool and be there where U have to be.When U are back to books I am sure U will catch up with ur studies with a peace of mind that people around U are happy!I am sure U are doing good.Good Luck
On my part am going to start studying now at the end of the day!!!!It is almost 10.00pm!!It was my little one's b'day.I decided to play with her all day,took her around.Was fun filled day for her!I don't beleive in throwing party till kids are 5 yrs of age.I have noticed that they hardly know what's going on and sometimes doesn't respond well to crowd!And the time when we want to be with them most is gone in "party managment"!!!Anyway had a nice day.
So starting with pharmac and should be done by 23rd Nov.

i'm planned for the usmle because i truly think it's the most important factor for residency, and knowing my ability, i must study longer than others to do well
how do you handle it, as a mother of two? i'm finding it hard to study for classes AND board-review

Hi God is watching,Yes I really find it hard to study with family.Hard to say how I handle it if at all I do?!!I have started taking it a positive way...they are my inpiration and encouragement and are not a hurdle at all
I am stuck with this pharmacokinetics.Shall dig up old books.When it comes to numbers....I am not good.Have no choice...got to know them well anyways.

hi....hows ur paharmac going on? try some mcqs from kaplan abt pharamackinetics...it will help u in giving some concept ...i know it was really hard for me to make concepts and remeber those formulas.....re read and read will help u....
