1. eskimo, kills bear eats liver=headache, papilledema, tox. of what vit???
2. newborn, eclusivelly fed by breast milk, deficient in???
3. kid with cystic fibrosis deficient in???
4. kid with white sclera/yellow skin drinking to much??? what does he have????
5. drugs enhancing p450 how would they affect vit D???
6. vitamin that neutralizes the oxidized LDL???

Blueocean, isnt the R factor associated with Vit B12. ? I thought R factor is present in the saliva & binds to Vit B12, preventing its degradation by stomach acids. Correct me if wrong.

5. cyp450 have both 24 hydroxylase and 25 hydroxylase. 25 activates it, 24 deactivates it, so it's not really clear how induction of cyp450 will influence vit.d
7. Please, somebody explaine to me why bleeding on warfarin is vit. e toxicity
13. Gota milk does have less folate than breast milk. However, neither breast milk nor goat milk have vitamin K. Why are newborns deficient in Vit. K with breast milk and in folate with goat milk?
15. The only thing I could find on R factor is "R protein" that binds B12 in intestine, so it has to be B12 def-cy then

Actually i am a little confuse about R factor- first time I thought is about the vit B 12 but l had read somewhere the biotin could be name R coenzyme; also I know about R factor like plasmid that codes for antibiotic resistance.

Fox, if you give folate just during pregnancy you can miss the first month because are just few women who can came to you and tell you "Doc, I am pregnant for 2 hours!" (If was a bad joke forgive me!)
So it'scorrect to give folic acid BEFORE !

Vit E decreased synthesis of vitK dependent factors which means synergistic effect with warfarin!
