I am an IMG on F1 visa .I have cleared step 1(97),Step 2 CS and waiting for my Step 2 CK result which I beleive should be out by 8th/9th sept.I will start applying after that.Right now I am pursuing PhD in USA (2nd year).My concern is if I should wait for ECFMG certification before applying or I should start as soon as I receive my step 2 CK score?I've sent my documents to ERAS though ,which havnt been scanned yet.

apply with s2 score. assign docs and they will auto transmit. gl with ur s2 score - hope its the same as ur s1

no need to wait for the actual certificate. do add it in profile of CAF though

Thanks guys for your support but what I understand from maverick's advice is that I should fill in Sept 2006 in my CAF as release time for my certification statement!! How much time it takes normally for certification to be released after the scores ?
