Despite DIP is not involved, 15% of chronic RA have OA and so a RA patient can have every joint involved in the body. But if a RA patient only have RA, then DIP is not involved. I have never seen a RA patient , I mean chronic RA patient without any other comorbid diseases. They take so much medications !
