There are no such things as "never" in medicine.

There are many variants of clinical cases of RA. Especially among men who have RA, they continue to work as machinists, farmers and resulted in so-called burned out RA.

Despite DIP is not involved, 15% of chronic RA have OA and so a RA patient can have every joint involved in the body.



But if a RA patient only have RA, then DIP is not involved. I have never seen a RA patient , I mean chronic RA patient without any other comorbid diseases. They take so much medications !
