Hi! I know there have been cases where people have successfully applied with step 1/ step 2 scores only & have landed good interviews. I started my prep in May this year & due to bad planning, gave my CS first & scheduled my step 1 in OCT & step 2 ck in DEC. Now I have cleared my CS. I was wondering if people have applied to programs with only CS results. I have 1 year US research exp & I have completed a residency from my homecountry. Do you think thats gonna make any difference at all ? I have to apply for this year's match due to personal compulsions & visa issues. My visa is valid till next march only. Do you think the gamble will pay off Or U think Im just wasting my time & energy trying to apply with a step 2 CS result. Im cursing myself as to why I didnt plan correctly & have my step 1 cleared first. Good luck to all appearing for the match of 07.

applying without step 1 = no interviews
though U have good creditionials, try to pass step 1 & apply as soon as U have results
