Hi everyone, This has probably been discussed millions of times but anyway. I'm just starting to prepare to Step 1. Graduated from the medical academy in Russia 4 years ago and since then have been working in a pharm company in the UK. This means I have forgotten quite a lot and have to start from scratch. Several questions really: 1. Is there a more or less precise list of books that one has to read when preparing for the exam? 2. When is it better to apply for the exam? In how many months before the actual date when one wants to pass the exam? I believe it's a stupid question but anyway. 3. Is it realistic to get prepared to Step 1 in a year? Quicker? 4. Would you advise to get any courses, trainings on the Internet, etc. when preparing for the exams? Thanks a lot!!!

you have the list of books in FA, First aid it self also is very good for reviewing . the best time for the exam is when you feel ready to read and answer all topics questions in less than a minute.
