but i sent the application by mail i didnt use the on line so i dont need to send them form 186 0% 0 0%

hello everyone i applied for the the step 2 ck for the period of october ,november ,december 2006 ,i was checking my application status and it says awaiting for cetification of identification form what does that mean please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That means that you have to send form 187. i think that its always better to call them and clear your individual case. 1-215-386-5900

you should Print form 186 attach a photo 2 it (5*5 on white back ground) go to your medical school get it signed and stamped on the photo ( if not in school get the notary public form and do it in the american embassy ),get a 2 copies of your medical school diploma ( in the original language) along with a certified translation from school or us embassy then send it to Ecfmg on the address on form 186 and wait the mail time plus up to ten business days to get the application accepted along with filled form 187, 344, 345 all from ecfmg website.

Note if your school issue an english certificate it can't replace the original language diploma (unlessthe diploma it self is in english), in easier terms they want the big paper that is decorated

what is the notary public form how to get the 186 form and i didnt apply on line i aaplied by paper application and already they verified my diploma !!!

i am calling the ecfmg they re putting me on hold since 4 hours what the hell is going with them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same message on my application couple of weeks ago. I called them to find out that my college in Pakistan has not sent back the verificatin papers (ECFMG had sent the papers to my college in April and now it was August). So I had to get some one to go to my college in Pakistan and get them to speed up the verification process. Within 10 days, my college sent the verificatin back to ECFMG and within one week, ECFMG changed my status to verified.

keep calling them until you get someone competent. it'll take a long time, but it will happen. those people can be rude.

just make sure you get someone who answers your question, and don't hang up the phone until you get what you called for.
