Dear friends, i have passed all exams 87/82 cs passed. i got a letter with the result of step 2 ck exam saying i am eligible for ECFMG certificate and it will arrive iin 2 weeks. The certificate hasn't arrived and the OASIS hasn't been updated with the certificate information either. I am yet to submit my CAF through the ERAS and i am wondering whether i should write ecfmg certified in that or not. If I write yes then i have to mention year and the month of certification. Year isn't a problem but i am doubtful on the month. I dont want to end up in a potential situation where i am defending why i falsified information about my certification if i write august and it is released in september. It is important because once submitted it cannot be changed. I do not want programs to look at my application and read NOT CERTIFIED whereas i am fully eligible for one.
The letter that came with the results says i can apply but i end up in the dillemma stated above.
Please advice.

Wait until you are certified officially then apply, you have time. call ECFMG make sure they updated your status report.

write ecfmg certified in sept and apply.. or apply now. ecfmg status can be changed later on as its part of profile.

If I were your place I would rather wait few more days for oasis to update the certification information and then submit caf and apply.
