hi people, although,its my 1st post on this forum, i am a frequent reader of this forum, i request some serious discussion about the pros and cons of any research work or any publication in journal of national/international repute.
many people remark that presence of any such work favour ur matching but on the other hand it can be time consuming, hence i request some serious contribution from people who have any idea about it. 
i am not too sure in which forum to put this ques so plz xcuse me if this ques is in wrong forum, coz as a grad i visit this forum only

thats a very relevant point..please comment if its wise to apply for the match with NO research at all on the cv..is it worth delaying the match for it?
