Hey guys, just want to clarify something.
The most common cause of nephroPATHY in CAUCASIANS is membranous glomerulonephritis.
DO NOT confuse this with most common cause of NEPHROTIC SYNDROME which is Diabetes Mellitus!
I saw someone post MCC of nephrotic syndrome as membranous GN, think about your rotations, how many of those did you see. now how many people do you stick on ACE-I with DM?

and inkspot, i think that link you gave might be a little old. H. Influenze used to be the MCC cause of meningitis in children, but now that they are vaccinated, it has dropped off the rankings. At least thats what I've learned, someone correct me I'm wrong.

Hey guys, Just something I noticed being mentioned. Most common cause of STD in US is not chlamydia, I'd think its HPV. Most common cause of bacterial STD is chlamydia! Can someone correct me if I am wrong?
