I've used the tongue depressor, and for vision u can do finger count at 3 feet, or just ask them to read the last line on the chart, don't waste time by going through each and every line. If u really run outta time and visual acuity is imp in the case ur can add testing visual acuity to ur diagnosis's in the pt. note
