Please Help, I tried to call ECFMG and have been on hold for over 90 min after which I hopelessly hung up
I had a few questions I wanted cleared out regarding the application papers:

1- LoR's: If I DO NOT waive my rights to see the LoR: do they (letter writers) still send it to me , or do they still send to the ECFMG? and if they mail the letters to me, do they have to clip the coversheet anyway or I can do that after I recieve them?

2-PUBLICATIONS: Does it count if I have been a speaker at an international/national/local seminar? or if I have a project proposal to the WHO? (all ofcourse as a student)

3-USMLE TRANSCRIPT: I thought that manually sending the scores as they come to each program at the applicant's convenience is not more advantageous than having it automatically sent by ERAS. Which is better? and Why?

4-ECFMG Certification: Does it make a difference in my application if ECFMG recieves the verification papers from my med school but I'm not yet certified until I get the rest of my steps cleared?

Thanks Alot For Your Time And Help,

Good Luck to all of you

1. Can't answer - someone who is applying is a better source than I.

2. Put them in, it can't hurt, can it?

3. Automatically updating is the best thing to do.

4. ECFMG will let programs know when you are certifed.
