Ok, i received an email that states the following:
3. All applicants must be able to obtain a J1 VISA on their own. Permanent resident status is preferred. No VISA’s are sponsored by AMC.
So I'm an IMG, I want a J1 visa, an ECFMG is supposed to sponsor my visa, right?... should I apply to this program? Just made a similar question in a previous post, but still dont get it...

you can apply. ecfmg will sponsor the visa. there are a lot of other threads dealing with this. you can look them up too. g/l.

AMGS preferrd means u have very less chance of geting an interview.

& what if they say: we can't sponser visa??, will ECFMG sponser the visa too?

we dont sponsor visa = only gc or citizen
