Hi guys,
I have taken OCT-DEC Block, I am ritng down my prep so far (2-3 mo),altho i know its ded slo,I would greatly appretiate fellow inmates takin d exam in the same block 2 rite down there prep so far ,it will help me to know where i stand n how fast i need to go.I uld also apprcite comments from other xperienced people to guide me at dis stage.

Step-Up--40%,BRS path-20%
Kaplan notes-not started yet!!,will just scheme thru once...no time

based on my experience I flunked 1st time with 178,I used goljan some questions and didnt complete 1st aid.I also used princeton,some kaplan and even step up but never mastered aany one of them.2nd time I passed with 198 only doing q-bank and some other questions from nms and did 1st aid 4 times.Master 1 or2 sources and do lots of q's and you will be in good shape.By the way my serious study time 2nd time around was 6 weeks for 8-9 hours per day as compared to 3 months the 1st time.good luck

HI doctre ! i'm taking step 1 for the 2nd time(SCORE WAS 179/73 ) in NOV '06 ,I DID KAPLAN Q BANK (USED 100% ) DO YOU THINK USING Q BANK AGAIN IS A GOOD IDEA ?CAN YOU SUGGEST ANY GOOD QUESTION SOURCE ?

dr23 I used qbank but I also used 850 questions of nms which were hard but good.I really think being that you are so close to passing if you really know 1st aid well you will pass.good luck

....Changed my study technique forthe remaining 3 mo. ,I checked out ebay for kaplan dvds and notes now i will do that then FA for the 2nd time,then Qbank .....may be Iwill get a 1 mo Qbank just to check out the type of questions asked....then one mo . in the 3rd mo. as a testing measure.......got to do FA quite a few times over ...Cant believe how do peopl do it 10 times over!!!!
