I took the exam on Aug. 11. Oasis updated today and I did the oasis trick, saying I have passed. Now I am happy and will more nervously wait to receive my score.
After the test, I felt I failed. The questions in the first 5 blocks of my exam were much longer and harder than Kaplan Qbank. The seventh block is the easiest. In two blocks, I did not have time finishing the last question. Two questions were not in step 1 review books, but I found them in step 2 review books.
My performance in kaplan Qbank is 74%. USMLE CD 84%.
I will pray for my score.

I received my score today: 243/98. It really surprised me. I thought I did not do that well.
Thank everybody's support. Now I am going to prepare my step 2.

congrats on the awesome score w4c3.what state are u in? i am wondering how long will it take me to get it.i took mine on august 7th and oasis got updated this wednesday. now i am waiting for the mail. this morning i got a survey in the mail from them. what abt u guys? did u fill it out?

ALS, I didn't do NBME. I am also a very very old graduate.
mano, I did not receive any survey form from them. I am in New England area, pretty near Philadelphia.

I didn't go to work this morning and was hoping I would receive the mail. But I didn't receive anything from them, not even the survey.
I took my exam on August 11th, and I am not far from them either.I am in Va.

I used BRS pathology plus Webpath. I read half of Kaplan notes and I felt it was not enough.

I am just making myself more conversant with USMLE.Can you tell
1. when can we appear for step-1.I mean is it our liberty to choose date and month?If not so, then in which month the test is usually held.Do inform of any related details.
2.Can one appear for Step -1 at under-graduate level.If one does so, is he at any loophole-your comments.

param_dr, thank u. one can take the test all yr round except for some dates in jan & dec. pls visit www.ecfmg.org
u can take the test on a undergrad level as long as u are through with your path. u will be tested on anat, physio, bichem, mol bio, genetics, micro bio, path, behavioral sciences & pharm. gl

thank u. wish u all the best with ur prep and exam. i did goljan audios and his rapid review for path. all the other subjects kaplan. qbank, qbook, rapid review questions. my prep was erratic. i took long breaks more than once. some good days i would do 5-6 hrs then take a day off. last once month was when i gave it my all. really studied my head off.
