23 y/o comes to ED complaining of massive hemoptysis.his past medical history is significant for cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.what is the next step??
1.transfusePRBC

2.angiography with gel embolization

3.bronchoscopy

4.intubation

Always ABC first in emergencies
First Secure Airways with intubation
After ABC ,Emergent bronchoscopy

i. PRBCs..becoz that wud me the main cause of his Presenting symptoms..

massive hemoptysis kills the pt by asphyxiation rather than by blood loss. while transfusion,bronchscopyand surgery play an important role.
in the managment of these pts the next step is to insure airway so the correct ans is intubationsmiling face
