My strategy is to apply to all psych programs minus the military and Puerto Rico programs (i guess puerto rico may have a spanish req.) My goal is to get atleast 30 interviews. so far i have selected 170 programs but i may cancel a few. is this a good idea?? btw i am an US IMG. got 85/78 on the first go with ecfmg cert. i have research, voluntary, observership and even a few months of psych externship. last year with one score and about 140 applications i only got 5 interviews with no match. i dont want to take any chances. should i apply to family or transitional as back up??

But you should also consider that few hours of search on internet can save you hundreds of dollars.
