hi medicore u meant pseudopdeudoHYPERparathyroidism or pseudopdeudoHYPOparathyroidism? pseudopdeudoHYPOparathyroidism: a disorder that closely simulates the symptoms but not the consequences of pseudohypoparathyroidism (thus it has mild or no manifestations of hypoparathyroidism or tetanic convulsions) pseudoHYPOparathyroidism: a sex-linked disorder resembling hypoparathyroidism, but which is unresponsive to treatment with parathyroid hormone; it is characterized by short stature, round face, achondroplasia, calcification of basal ganglia, true ectopic bone in fascial planes and skin, mental deficiency, hypocalcemia, hyperphosphatemia, and parathyroid tissue that is hyperplastic.
