Probabilty of inheriting AD disease is100%
Probabilty of having a female child is 50%
so the combined probability is 50 x 100 = 50%
am I right ??

in every generation there is a 50% chance of transmission of the trait.
the professor is explaining in 4th chapter of genetics..kaplan lecture.

calculate it as 1/2 chance of son and 1/2 chance of grand daughter....so 1/2x1/2=1/4 i/e/ 25%
