Hi I'm sitting the MCCEE in May. Toronto notes is rather intimidating and I figured the best way to prepare is with past paper questions. I've been trying to get hold of past paper questions on the internet with not much success. If anyone has a collection or knows of websites, please let me know. My email address is drjyc78@yahoo.co.uk Thanks! xx

Hey, MCEE isn't bad at all. If you have passed Step 2, you will be fine on the EE. Kaplan is good for review and doing the Simulated tests available on the MCC website are very useful I think. Good Luck to everyone! ~L.

Just want to remind u all again...a passing mark is enough on EE...try to get a little better on QE1...more then ur marks on respective exams, wat counts is ur total portfolio when u apply, ur work experiance, especially in a Canadian hospital setting, research, everything is looked at as a package cum interview time..

hi frenz... i am glad to c the section of MCCEE in this usmle-oriented website...i am happy 2 c all mcc seekers who r tryin thier level best to get past canadian exams. ...with no intention to demoralise,i want to ask,if anystudent (img)past-mccee/qe1/qe2 secured RESIDENCY in Canada? i have heard n seen infew websites regarding canadian law-infrastructure..as i got to know:its pretty unfriendly especialy for foreign medical graduates, even past gud MCC scores...like..they got very few amnt of residency seats extra-after deducting the no. of canadian undergraduate-MEDICINE seats...on the contrary..where in USA there are 8000 undergradute seats fo rmedicine and around 12000 Residency positions---giving way to 4000 international candidates each year!... Can anybody, who has more infor throw some light on this topic ----Suggestions from doctors past-mccee n wrkin in Canada wud be most useful 2 all of us..before we setup DREAM-CANADA!!! regards to all best of luck

Guys how does the new results compared to the results from the previous years? Meaning, Previously the 500 mark was the 50th percentile.. Does that mean who got 271 (which is the new 50th percentile) equals the one who got 500 previously?

Hi Nisha, Jase, cutedoc and everyone, Hope you're still out there reading this forum... Have been reading your comments with interest. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the existence of sample MCCQE1 questions (in particular CRS) at UofT Library. Cute Doc mentioned he got hold of these, but I can't see these listed on the UofT library catalogue on line. Anyone out there with any ideas? I'd be very very grateful for your info. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

hi nima i wonder y residency programs in canada confine quota for imgs in surgery and surgery subspecialities if they dont want to employe imgs in surgery?!!!!!!! do u think they r having fun or wasting their time!!!!!! dont listen to roomers!!!!!! as concern urology no urology positions in canada for imgs but many general and orthopedic surgery for imgs r present across canada i agree that positions in usa r much more also if u love urology to death and needs nothing but urology it will be wiser to shift to usmle by the way there is only one way to obtain urology position in canada!!!!!! it is just an idea that came to my mind in some canadian universities they open residency positions to both cmg and imgs but i have no idea had any one tried this route be4 or not?!

general surgery would also do fine for me but my problem is I know quite a lot of people around and none..None has ever entered surgical residencies in Canada...I know one or two in radio...even one in dermato...but no surgery...funny, huh?? this is kinda discouraging me to pursue my dreams in Canada, although it;s the country I'd like to spend the rest of my life in...but well 3 4 years of total uncertainty would kill anybody...but in US after 1 2 years of hard work you could be 70-75% sure...but canada is a little not transparent with us...I donno...
