MCCEE is 3 days away, and only now do I find this site! A few quick questions: 250 of 300 questions correct are required to pass (~83%)? please confirm. i've slogged through most of the MCCEE exams but don't have the answers, can anyone help me? Thanks and best of luck to all fellow Jan 11 '07 MCCEE takers! carl (from US)

Sorry folks...me and my good buddy Cordmd have been really busy (moving, interviewing, working, ofcourse lots and lots of travelling)..for those of u taking ur MCCEE on Jan 11th a very very good luck ...just do as many old questions as u can from different sites, lots of them get repeated again, remember to read those pearls in your toronto notes (their important), and dont give up hope..3 ppl from this forum have gotten residency in Canada already..

can anyone help with a link (or e-mail) to get the answers to MCCEE questons? i have done the questoins although not sure of some of the answers; the question stem is so brief with so little detail it is sometimes tough to know which question is right. Here in the US the answer may be to do a CT or MRI but seems the approach may be different in Canada, with socialized medicine and a (refreshing) cost-containing approach. thanks! carl

Good morning All I just wanted to say this site has been awesome for imformation. Thanks particularly to Nisha and CORDMD. I was wondering if anyone had an idea what is considered a pass for MCEE. I know it's 250 as a numerical value, but does anyone know what that is percentage or percentile? I just did one of the self evals on the MCC website and got a 69. is that enough for a pass. any insight would be greatly appreciate. Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Leenz

I don't think anyone really knows how its gone - Just enjoy the post exam break... You're going to have to start prep for the MCQE I pretty soon! Good Luck! Dimsumboy - since you're an accredited surgeon with an MRCP do find out if you really have to even take the Canadian exams - esp in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia you may be given a provisional license on the basis of your credentials. i think you really should do some research!
