Hello ,
I'm glad to see you are doing just fine , done with glycolysis
I was same , thinking about to get up earlier . I was never able to give order to my body to leave nice cozy bed, if I did , somehow my son woke up at the same moment , and it was end of my morning's studies....... and rest you can imagine.

My boss stayed here until 9:30 pm.  But I still managed to reread the Oxidative Phosphorylation. My goal for tonight is rereading chapter 6,7, and part of 8. tomorrow fininsh chapter 8 and 9. Then go to Chapter 1-5. My plan for this week + weekend is rereading.

Hi, Dr. mum,
I am going to studying metabolism this weekend. Lippincott's Biochemistry review is a
good book. It has nice figures and tables as well as good quality of paper, all work for me.

Finished review, and today finished chapter 10, Glyconeogenesis.

Crane, I am using Lippincott too. It's really a good book. It takes time, but is worth. Keep reading, we will be fine.

Hi dr mum....its so nice of u to drop by in my journal.ThankU.
Lippincot for biochem is really a great textbook.Just a thought.....try to make a concise notes for every chapter so at time of revision you don't spend time reading the whole book again....It worked for me well might help U too.

Thanks, usmle4me, I will try it. It is hard to reread all the words.
I am going to finish chapter 11, Glycogen metabolism and hopefully, I can finish chapter 12, metabolism of monosaccharides and disaccharides.

Hi! Dr. mum and Mytime,
it is great to know you guys are reading so well, keep up the good work girls! well regarding my exams I have to just wait for the results, just like all the people, I really dont know how I did my exams and since it all depends on how others have done too , it is really difficuilt to say about how one has really done in their exams.
I was enjoying with my family after a long time we had a nice halloween and my kid now thinks she can get candies if she knocks on neighbors doors. We are planning for a nice vacation during thanks giving. right now that is it.

Didn't finish the 2nd read of unite II. But I will keep going forward. Finished chapter 15 and part of chapter 16 tonight. I am going to finish chapter 16 before going to bed. For tomorrow, I will do chapter 17 and 18. Hope I can do it.

Asha good luck..I know waiting can be the worst thing possible but have fun now...'coz u'll Have to get back soon enough.
MUM....good going....I have started Immuno but will try to finish off from Lippincott side by side....done half and completed Kaplan though....Will keep checking on u.

Hi Dr. Mum,
Love to read your posts and motivated me a lot. We have something in common. We both have a lovely and very demanding, the most important is we both have a dream about the usmle and we all plan to take step 1 at the end of next year. I have done with the anatomy and I started histology. What about you?

Happymle, thanks for writing in my journal. I finished physiology, and histology in Kaplan notes. I am doing biochemistry of Lippincott right now. Next, I will do pathology.
Mytime, you are really fast. I just can not finish my plan. It's kind of too hard for me to keep moving. It's too hard to chew and to swallow the biochemistry. I feel so shamed to report my progress right now.  And I got angry to myself.
It's a shame to announce that I didn't finish my plan. I just finished chapter 16 and a little bit chapter 17. I just can not move forward. I am in bad mood in biochemistry studying. I think I maybe need a break, but I feel so guilty to do so. I really want a nice quiet tea time, but I am working at that moment, and I can not drink any tea right now, for my pregnancy. Oh, my. Maybe I should start pathology now, just for a changing, or I need to stick to my plan, anyway I have to go through it.
Time to go home.

Hi, Dr. Mum,
I had the same feeling for Biochemistry. i think some subject might take more time than others.
it is hard to study tough subject while working and having a baby. i know i could not do it. You are amazing.
Well, i am thinking about taking off some days during holiday for shopping and visiting friends. How about you?

Hey Dr. Mum don't berate urself...i had to finish to be able to dicuss the stuff with friends........but i still need to finish with lippincott so u see we are even. I know it gets boring hence i decided to mix and match..maybe u sud read a day or two of B.sc.
or maybe raed it everyday along with ur biochem so as to keep u going...........
I wish u luck will still be checking on u. Just move along without stressing out that will only make u fat. Good Luck.

Mytime is right, maybe you should try '' sandwitch method''. One day patho another biochemistry , choice is up to you . The patho is fun , you might enjoy it more ! It is not as boring , and much easier to comprehend .
How come I missed that you are expecting ? How far are you ? You are a really dr.mum !!!! Don't forget you need to take care of yourself and the pretious human being inside ! Maybe you could try some nice herbal tea or green tea, they are good as well, and will make you fell relaxed......
