7 months of preparation, countless hours of studying, a lifetime of dreams and it all ends in 2 days (hopefully). I am finally done with the maximum preparation I can do and am taking the exam on the 31st. couldn't sleep last night but that won't change a thing. Thousands of doctors don't sleep before the exam OR are remain so drugged with sleeping pills that they have no clue what happens in the first 3 blocks, yet they persevere and end up with a 99. I CAN DO IT TOO. Every once in a while we have in our life what can be called as a defining moment. On our deathbed, if we look back and remember everything we accomplished; it's these defining moments that make our life. A human being if lucky will probably have a week or two of defining moments in his entire life. I am sure everyone here will agree with me that Step 2 CK is a defining moment. I am tensed, caught up in a haze, have a flurry of questions going on in my mind, worried about forgetting everything I prepared for in the last 7 months; but am sure most people will be too before taking the exam. I am not going to let the storm of doubt, of confusion, of insomnia, of tension cloud my defining moment. I am going to persevere, going to accomplish the best I can do and make sure that I don't screw up my defining moment but make it one to cherish. I have seen numerous threads lately of people who are taking the exam pretty soon. All the best to you guys. I am sure you guys will do it too and end up with flying colors. We are Doctors, and we strive to be the best in the world. Lets think that way too and get done with this exam.

amazing post ...all the best to you msp ... just relax...think its just another day of questions practice session...and i'll pass on one advice to you which i got from another senior member (srf) on this forum...the only way to finish the exam is not to try and read fast but to decide fast...so just keep solving your questions and dont think about it again and quickly move on to the next question. dont ever think of the previous question or your answer...just keep moving on...dont let your tension get to you...trust me, this simple bit of advice proved to be very helpful for me on the exam day...so just stay calm and cool and i am sure you'll ace this test too like many other exams that we have given in life so good luck and may this exam be a moment for you to cherish ...cause for me it was all the very best buddy.
