hi, Apurva is it important: when they send U your degree? or just the date of completeing the required stuff to get the degree?!!! upon your advice, I sent to ECFMG asking about : I'll recieve my degree one year after completing final exams, without mandatory internship, which date should I use? he replied: the date ur medical degree will be issued !!!! what's the meaning of issued here?!!!! recieved or completed reuirements ?

Issued means the date your degree was released by your university to you. So I would go with your internship completion date.

so U think (issued) here means: completed reuirements ?!! yeah, the problem is, the xams R from mid November to mid January, the date in my certificate is the date of November!!, so I can use the date of Jan. as it's the date of last step required for my degree..!!! still confused

the ECFMG reply: Dear Doctor, If you are still completing requirements mandated by your medical school in order to be issued the final medical school diploma, including completing an internship, you should enter the date of completion of these requirements as your graduation date. If your medical school considers you to be a student during this internship you should apply as a student and have your medical school certify your application. For the degree year, enter the date in which you expect your final medical school diploma to be issued to you.
