I thought i would say a few words about this forum.
I came across this forum back in april. Life Saver is what i hav to say.
Great questions posted and great explanation and also some very good links for resources.
Personally, i studied mostly from FA and High Yield books for most subjects. On top of that i did Q bank and questions from my husbands collections from when he was a medical students.
And of cause lots of questions from this forum and webpaths questions.
The exam today:
lots of biochemistry question ( the one i fear most molecules of this and that, things i did back in chemistry in high school)
lots of behavioural science ( lots of scenario questions, i mean LOTS)
lots of pharmacology questions ( famous ones and i acutally mess it up, sigh.......)
And all others were equally distributed in all blocks.
Theres some questions, where i automatically say, yes i know this 100%
And theres some that look like they are from another planet!!! Aliens!!!
Please make sure u know how to read graphs and know your pictures well.
I made a lot of mistakes by doubting my 1st instict argh~!!!!
oh yea theres acutally some repeats of similar question in betwn blocks so TAKE your BREAK and make used of it.
Taking breaks is very important, i took a small break in betwn all blocks.
Just make sure you do a lot of questions and sleep well the night before and i took a few banana and a bottle of water with me( my energy booster)
For now i can only pray for the best and hopefully i will scartch a pass!!!!!

acutually i did not do Kaplan course and i started to prepare USMLE since april 06 and i tried to do NBME but apparently the coupon ran out.
You must be wondering what did i actually do then?? hehe
I did Q bank and it really help.
