Plz advice me on LOR issue .How many LOR should be there and from where.As i have been attachted to three medical colleges....One for UG,one for PG and there days working for a hospital.Who is best person to get LORs.....I am in general surgery and will be applying for same...............plz guide me

in order of preference:
pd / hou of ur surgical unit for pg
all the us lors u can get
lor of ur boss any place u have worked in
hod of surgery when u were in ug
if they are all non american then try for some1 with a mrcs/frcs or facs/macs.
is that a modified ganesha in ur avatar?

well i would love to have that avtar ...... ,well i m working in western centre...... i can get LOR from here....... as well as from india ......well the thing is deans letter as i dnt know who was my dean..............i am sure most of the people wont know that ....so where shd i get from ........plz reply apurva

ur current dean is obliged to give u a deans letter since u are a student of the school in the past adn its his responsibility.
i dont think it shud be an issue since we had 6 deans in 5yrs.. and the current 1 who gave me my deans letter was just micro hod until last 2 months of my internship
