Ski season is well on its way even if the snow is a bit icy and crusty. Kevin is an 18-year-old that fell at Vail Mountain during a freshman ski trip. His fall was unusual due to the fact that he fell backwards and is now complaining of pain in the upper posterior portion of his legs. Muscles, tendons, and fascial tissue can be seen well with CT. These cross sectional views can aid in identification of possible tears and pathology. Refer to the image. What muscle group is indicated by the closed white arrow in the film?

A Biceps femoris, semitendinosus, semimembranosus.
B Gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, gracilis.
C Quadratus femoris, piriforms, obturator internus.
D Obturator internus, obturator gemelli, vastus medialis.
E Addcutor longus, rectus femoris, adductor magnus.
F Coracobrachialis, subcapular, pectoralis major.
G Deltoid, teres major, latissimus dorsi.
