I am about to start a fellowship in US.
I have already got the DS 2019 form, but the embassy is scheduling interviews from sep 19 on only.
Does anybody know if there is something I can do to rush the process?
Is there anything the PD can do about it (he offered to do anything to help

pd can call and explain. heard it helps. do try. and atleast make him fax a letter to the us consulate stating what a highly qualified applicant u are and how the hosp business is bein affected causing loss of revenue
btw congrats. can u share which fship u managed to get and how for others?

Thank you for your help.
This is a surgical fellowship. I browsed the american association site and got the PD e-mails. Then I sent e-mails to all the programs acredited asking if they considered IMGs to apply for a position. You can't enter the match because you need to be board certified or elligible. But the probram PD can consider you outside the match at the depending on the department's rules.
So I was offered to apply in 4 selection processes, but choosed only one who offered me a position this year.
