I am about to start a fellowship in US.
I have already got the DS 2019 form, but the embassy is scheduling interviews from sep 19 on only.
Does anybody know if there is something I can do to rush the process?
Is there anything the PD can do about it (he offered to do anything to help)?

He could write a letter to the embassy to plead his case that you are needed to help take care of patients. It might work. It might not.
