hi ,
anyone can u please tell me what is this 1 yr priliminary progam in internal medicine. is it like transitional internship or a clinical rotations provided by the hospital.
pls can one explain me about this before i start my application.

Preliminary Medicine will have more medicine than a transitional year residency.

hi bbb,
thanks for the quick reply. i saw in the residencr programs about these transitional internship. but i couldnt find the eligibilty for applying. since i got low scores , iam not applying for residency, iam trying for these tansitional and priliminary.
are there any chance that people with low score can get these transitional or priliminary prgm.

Difficult....prelim/trans programs are hotly contested! :-(

Depends on your interviewing skills, the rest of your application, etc. No one can give you chances - you have to decide on how bad you want it.
