Hi all, I am old graduate, 1992, trying to fill out page 5 - experience My question is - can I leave blank Reason for Leaving and Average Hours/Week? Does it hurt? Is it really necessary and important information? Also should I fill out non-required fields such as SSN ot birthday in my profile? Or I may leave it blank too? Thank you in advance.

I am also an old IMG (1992 as well). I tried to put at least something in the "reason for leaving" because I don't want them to think that I quit or abandoned or that I was fired from my previous activities/ jobs. The lack of information might create fears in the PD that you could probably be in one of those categories and that you will do the same during residency. I put something like "completed training" or "completed residency" or "had to stop or quit due to conflict in schedule" or " I moved to USA". Anything that is short but good enough to sound like a reasonable explanation to leave a position. NOw, if any of those options is true, then I probably would leave it in blank as well and be prepared to explain during the interview.
