I got my CS pass score card on August 19 and dont have my ECFMG certificate yet. I dont think it will reach before Sept 1. So it seems I cant apply for Stp 3. What are other people in this situation doing?

Well, actually few days ago i realized that i was in the same problem.
After reviewing al info at USMLE website i think there's nothing for us to do. Step 3 deadline is already here and our certificate will take at least 20 days after the date report.
Sad but true...
However i think my chances of getting a H1b visa is nearly impossible for General Surgery so, J1 will be fine...
Anyone else with some advise?
