what are some of the programs that prefer usa clinical experience over board scores and number of attempts? and are they concentrated in the field of family practice or internal med. or others too? thanks

Lookin you will have to do some searching around here in the forums. There is a new thread making the rounds "PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS FOR IMG FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE" by ngt. Do look it up. You might also want to search the forum for more threads. I really do not have much idea about either IM or FP since I would not be applying to either of those. I do not remember where, but there was a whole compilation of programs, their Step score requirements, and extra requirements for IMG's and somebody posted it pretty recently. Again, I did not save the link or the file because the listing dealt strictly with IM. You need to look up that too.

You may also check the free list posted at www.fmgamerica.com, it seems to be quiete accurate and straightfoward... I compared with the info I collected myself and it matched.
