Hi bbb, You are very kind to us. Unfortunately I will not be applying to IM except for some transitional and prelim programs. My q to you is when the PD looks at the whole package how improtant is that the Personal statement is outstandin or dazzling. I am writing one that is sso down-to-earth with just simple language and nothing attention grabbing. It is honest and straightforward. I am worried about it. thanks for doign a great job here.

Thanks. The problem LifeInTheFastLane and bbb is that back home we are taught that one has to be modest regardless of how brilliant one is. and all of a sudden here we are writing about how good we are! It is hard do that. But I take heart in what you guys have written. thank you.
