I have a question about transitional year. Is it ok to do a transitional year and next year to reapply for PGY1 in IM? what about if you do a preliminary year? I mean, it will be a great chance to enter a good program once you have back the USCE, no? Or may be I'm missing something?

transitional / prelim im is more competitive than categ
u use up 1 yr of nih funding
also depends on ur visa issues as few trans wud sponsor a visa
pls search previous similar posts. put "transitional" or "prelim" in search function
