Which of the following is NOT an accurate comparison between muscle and liver glycogen phosphorylase? A. Both are increased by cyclic AMP. B. Glucagon and epinephrine increase glycogen phosphorylase in both tissues. C. Calcium partially activates muscle glycogen phosphorylase, but not glycogen phosphorylase in liver. D. Muscle and liver glycogen phosphorylase are fully active after phosphorylation by cyclicAMP dependent protein kinases. E. Glycogen phosphorylase is a monomer in muscle but exists as a dimer in liver.

Glucagon & Epi promote Glycogen phosphorylase in Liver, but NOT in Muscle. I go for B.

correct answer is B.....good going friends.... Glucagon & Epi promote Glycogen phosphorylase in Liver, but IN MUSCLE it is activated by epinephrine,AMP and Ca2+.
