Hi everyone...
I just finished Step 1.
I still have to take Step 2 CK and Step 2 CS.
Do I have enough time to complete these two?
Will I be able to apply for the 2007 Match?
When is the deadline?

Dec 31 is deadline
It is possible to be matched if you sit for CS and CK before Dec 31 but your chance is low.

I'm in the same boat DrVirgo..
But I'm scheduled for the CS in a week and planning to take the CK in early Nov.
I'm also working on my LORs now.
I'm going for it and God help us all.. I can't afford not to even try this year.
I think if you don't have a problem with visa, have a decent step 1 score and your LOR are ready ( not like mine).. I don't see why you shouldn't.

if the point is application deadline, U can apply till mid of Feb, with 50$ fees of late application
but the point is getting interviews, which not usually occur if apply after october.
if U got good score in step 1, apply as soon as U canby its score, but U have to clear CD before this year end, & to clear S2CK before Jan end..
it's depending on the compititivity of the programs U R applying for & thier deadlines

I have a bad news to share with you. I sent 150 emails to IM and Anesthesia programs to ask about application with step 1 score only. I received lots of responses and all of them said that they only review complete application. For IMGs complete application must be in Nov-mid Dec.
So if I take CK and CS in Nov and Dec, it is still late.
I have no Visa issue, so I will extend my step 2 CK period and take it in Mar, then wait one more year.

ok even if U complete ur exams by Dec, when U apply to match early U won't yet hve the CK results, so the programs won't invite U for interview even if U'll complete ur paper by interview date
plz correct me if I'm wrong

Correct Superhood,
If we complete step 1, CK, CS and get ECFMG certificate in end of Dec, We are still at risk of unmatched because we have few interviews.
So I decide to spend one more year.
