Hi everyone
I am an Img but I am an american citizen
I took step 2 ck 2 weeks ago, and i have my cs schedulaed to 16 nov. as for step1 I studied pharm , path, neuroscience, some physiology, some biochemistry. but it seem that I will not be able to take the exam before nov or dec.
So by the time of application deadline of 1 dec ( as most programs) I will only have
a) Step 2 ck Result (which god willing will be around 95 , at least)
b) took step2 cs and may be step 1 but no results
c) got a good school transcript
d) done a rotating internship in my country
e)I will try to get obseverships in oct nov dec.
So would that be enough to get interviews for preliminary surgery, or internship or anything.

Yes i think it may help. My friend applied late in the season and matched 2 yrs back as she didnt have any visa issues

you have good credentials til now but Step 1 is the cornerstone for your application, it is one of the most important way to asses and compare your file with AMGs file (most of AMGs have only Step 1 scoore at this time in the year).

excellent score, I think if U'll have step1 score within days, U can apply now
officially, U'll need all ur steps score, school transcript& ECFMG certification by mid Feb
