I used the Kaplan WebPrep and read all the accompanying notes. 7 books in all plus the Qbook. I don't think 2 months is enough for it all.

However, you could focus on those books that are key (Path, Phys)
and select those pertinent chapters in the following Anat, Pharm, Biochem. I say this because a lot of the chapters in these books are less likely to be tested on or you could choose those from your weak areas to read. You should do Qbank or something everyday even if it's only 50ques/day. Don't stress! Your score will improve and you'll learn a lot from the answers. I didn't study from any other books except for reference if something seemed unclear. Good Luck!

Forgot to mention. I read the Kaplan Behav book in its entirety. It goes fast and you could skip those areas that you're strong in.

Oddissy4u,

I'm sorry I was confused about which exam you were asking about. I see you're preparing for Step 2. I did the WebPrep for Step 2 and A LOT of questions. My strong areas are GI, Resp, Cardio so I quickly reviewed those. My weak areas are Heme/Onc. I'm sorry I don't have my Kaplan notes anymore to see which were less apparent. I did read it all but definitely you gotta go over:
CARDIO, PULM, Big Heme topics thalassemia, main leukemias ALL, AML, CML and know about thrombosis.
Know breast/colon/prostate/testicular/mult. myeloma cancers. GI-more on esophagus, stomach, colon. Less liver except know HEPATITIS and less biliary. Know the main renal diseases.
Know the difference between SLE, scleroderma, RA, OA, gout for rheum. For endocrine main thyroid diseases, cushing's and DM.

I hope this helps and doesn't make your planning more difficult. Since you have 2 months focus on the BIG topics and keep doing questions. The questions will help alert you to where you need a quick look to remember an old detail you didin't READ THROUGH and you probably still don't need to read through it. Focus on getting through the big stuff and doing questions every day. Sorry I couldn't help more. Good luck!
