I am an Img who has completed Pediatrics Residency in India from a prestigious Institute. I have cleared my Step 1 and CS and would be taking my step 2 on 15th Sep. And if everything goes fine then step 3 before November if possible. I have no us clinical experience. I got recently married and move over to Chicago. I have plans to apply for programs only in Chicago and for a h1 sponsorship. I am on h4 status at present and there are chances of my husband getting his labour cleared (for the purpose of EAD) this year since he is in US since the past 8 years. Just now me and my husband had started to understand eachother and so don't want to go apart from family at this stage. If anyone can kindly tell me about my chances of getting residency this time, it would be very helpful. And so can anyone tell me when to start applying ?

i think u can land a match at cook county or some good peds program. they value clin exp very very highly. and im sure u will defin get a peds residency somewhere on a h1.pls relax
